Yes. It measures against the clock rather than counting ticks, so a background tab cannot make it drift. Switch away for ten minutes and it will still be right when you come back.
It displays 'Time's up' on the page instead of relying on a sound, so it still tells you it finished when your device is on silent or you are looking at another tab.
Reset puts the countdown back to the full duration you set and leaves the fields alone. Clear empties the fields as well, ready for the next timer.
The hours field goes up to 99, which is longer than most timers are ever needed. For longer countdowns, set 99 hours and treat the remaining time as part of it.
